I’m Jennifer A. Martinez
Designing with porpous
A Toronto-based graphic designer with a strong sense of storytelling and cultural identity. I solve problems through thoughtful design, blending strategy with creativity. My work is playful, minimal, and emotional, always driven by curiosity, critical thinking, and a desire to connect with people.
My Projects
My work focuses on branding, packaging, and visual identity design, with an emphasis on concept development and storytelling. Across my projects, I explore how design can create strong brand experiences through thoughtful systems, typography, color, and layout. Many of my concepts are inspired by culture, lifestyle, and experience-based design, allowing each project to feel immersive and meaningful rather than only visual.
My portfolio includes brand identity systems, packaging concepts, editorial-style layouts, and promotional design assets. Each project is designed with a clear purpose, aiming to communicate a strong message while maintaining an elegant and cohesive aesthetic.
What I Do:
I specialize in branding, packaging, and visual identity design, creating concept-driven work that is both strategic and visually refined. My process is rooted in research, storytelling, and strong design systems, allowing each project to feel intentional and cohesive across all touchpoints.
I enjoy developing brands from the ground up, from defining the visual direction and typography to building layouts, packaging concepts, and supporting brand assets. I focus on creating designs that communicate clearly, feel modern and elegant, and leave a memorable impression while staying aligned with the brand’s purpose and audience.
